We offer you to go through a simple grading process so we can estimate a value for your current device.

STEP 1

Identify your device

Indetifying the model of your gaming device is relatively easy. It should say the model on the front or back of it (sometimes on the bottom sticker). Please what kind of lens and accessories come with your camera or if it is body-only. Lenses can have long names but if it is a stock lens included with your camera we can surely identify it just by the mm value (for example 18-55mm). If you purchased some specialized lense that isn't part of a factory bundle for the camera then we will need more description.

Steam Deck Selling Tips: Bring the Whole Kit

A Steam Deck is graded as a set, not as a single object. The handheld, the 45W brick, the case and the box each carry part of the value, and whatever stays at home is something we have to source ourselves before the unit can go back out. Ten minutes of gathering usually moves the grade further than any amount of wiping the screen.

Pack these before you bring your Deck in:

  • The original box. The Valve carton carries the storage size on the outside, which settles the 64GB LCD versus 1TB OLED question before anyone opens anything, and the foam tray keeps the Deck from moving on the drive over.
  • The 45W USB-C power brick Valve ships with the Deck, and its cable. A generic phone charger will run the unit but not keep it charged under load, so the original brick belongs in the bag.
  • The carrying case, including the removable liner that comes with the OLED models, plus any microSD card you have been playing off. A 512GB card left in the slot is part of the set, not an extra.
  • Papers. The Steam hardware order confirmation showing the purchase date, and any repair invoice if a screen, fan or battery was replaced. A documented repair reads far better than an unexplained mismatched part.
  • Spare parts. If you swapped in a larger 2230 NVMe drive or fitted a colored back shell, bring the stock drive, the stock shell and the screws. Returned to factory form, the Deck grades as one complete unit.

Sign out of your Steam account and clear any device password before you arrive, because the controller calibration screen, the storage report and the fan check all run in front of you. For identification, a driver's license, state ID, passport or Green Card all work. If you want a read before driving over, text or WhatsApp photos of the Deck, the brick and the box for a free preliminary estimate.

What Does Not Work as a Steam Deck Sale

Not everything that arrives in a Steam Deck box is something we can resell. What comes back across the counter most often:

  • Loose accessories - a bare dock, a spare 45W brick, a third-party case or a set of thumbstick caps with no console attached. Those sit for months, so they are not bought alone.
  • Harvested parts - a stripped mainboard, a loose 7-inch panel, a fan pulled from a donor unit. We buy whole handhelds, not component piles.
  • Account-locked units - still signed into Steam with a device password set, so controller calibration and the storage screen cannot be opened with you watching. Untested stays unpriced.
  • Other handhelds - an ROG Ally, Legion Go or Ayaneo is priced under its own model, not against Steam Deck values.

A cracked screen, a grinding fan or a Deck that will not boot is a different case. Those are graded for parts or repair, and the offer follows how much of the unit still works.

What a Strong Steam Deck Looks Like

The Decks that grade well are boring in the right ways. Here is what gets checked first, roughly in this order:

  • Sticks and buttons - both thumbsticks center in the built-in controller test with no drift, the L4/R4/L5/R5 back buttons click, and the triggers travel their full analog range.
  • Screen - no dead pixels and no delamination at the corners, and on the 512GB LCD or the 1TB OLED the etched anti-glare glass with no deep scratches.
  • Storage and boot - it starts into SteamOS, signed out, and the reported capacity matches the label, whether that is 64GB eMMC or a 256GB, 512GB or 1TB NVMe.
  • Body - the original shell rather than an aftermarket one, a USB-C port that holds the cable firmly, and a fan that spins without a rattle.

Add the box, the 45W charger and the case to that and you have a complete unit, which is the version of a Deck that moves straight back onto the shelf.
